Fish and Chip Supper on the Epping and Ongar Steam Railway - 2018
The County Priory Group for Essex organised a special Fish and Chip Supper for St John Volunteers and their families on August 31st this year. It was aboard our exclusive carriage on the Epping and Ongar Steam Railway.
While the "Lord Phil" Steam Engine pulled us smoothly from Epping to Ongar and back again (twice) we enjoyed:
All agreed it was a lovely and unusual venue to catch up with old friends.
Many thanks to Valerie Morris for organising the event, and to the Epping and Ongar Steam Railway for their support.
We managed to raise an amazing £261 towards the Small Mobile Treatment Centre (£132 was raised through the raffle) - so thanks to everyone for their support.
