The aims of the Fellowship are:
- To support the charitable activities of The Order of St John, particularly The Eye Hospital.
- To form local branches to promote, advance and encourage the work of the Fellowship.
- To enable members to keep in touch with St John and each other.
- To help former members in need, especially the incapacitated, housebound and those in residential or care homes.
- To promote wellbeing, healthy living and friendship.
Why should you become a Member of the Fellowship ?
- To make a difference and continue your volunteering journey.
- To enjoy social events and activities.
- To assist with fundraising.
- To be part of a nationally recognised organisation.
- To receive support from our local, regional and national teams.
- To attend regular meetings and receive talks from a range of guest speakers.
- To make new friends.
Many branches support the work of St John Ambulance who provide First-aid training and event First-aid provision. We also offer support to County Priory Groups whose responsibility is to deal with Priory affairs such as fundraising, Order of St John events and much more, at a local level.
